In early 2004, Bang starting working on a head made from 100% Beta Ti. Steve Almo, the President of Bang Golf felt that the consistency would be much better than several different alloys welded together and then heat treated.
You may already know that metal fatigue occurs in a clubhead at around 7,000 to 10,000 hits, no matter what company makes a club - and with Long Drivers or excessive swing speeds it occurs much faster. With the new Bangster 100% Beta Ti we tested the head at 20,000+ hits with absolutely no metal fatigue at all! This eliminates the 'dead head' feel that some of you may have experienced after a while with other club heads.
